CONFERENCES I am involved in the running and organization of a number of conferences including the following:

The MFCSIT Conferences were initiated by me and Prof. Ted Hurley of NUI Galway, starting in UCC on 2000. They focus on the Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science and Information Technology (MFCSIT). The Proceedings are published in Elsevier's Electronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science (ENTCS).
MFCSIT2000 was held in University College Cork on the 20th and 21st July, 2000.
MFCSIT2002 was held in NUI, Galway on the 18th and 19th of July.
MFCSIT2004 was held in Trinity College, Dublin on the 22nd and 23rd July, 2004.
(MFCSIT'06) was held in University College Cork from 1st to 5th August, 2006.

The Information Conferences were started in Japan in 2000, and I have been actively involved in their running from the beginning. They focus on the theme of information in the sciences with particular emphasis on Computer Science and Information and Communication Technologies. The Proceedings are published in Information.
Information'00: The First International Conference on Information was held in Fukuoka, Japan from 16th to 19th October, 2000.
Information'02: The Second International Conference on Information was held in Beijing, China from 24th to 27th July, 2002.
